What is forestry mulching?

Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that grinds trees, brush, and vegetation into mulch on-site. This eliminates the need for hauling debris and leaves behind a natural layer that helps protect and enrich the soil.

Do you remove the mulch after clearing?

No—mulch is left on-site as part of the process. It helps prevent erosion, improves soil quality, and naturally breaks down over time.

What types of properties do you service?

We work on residential, agricultural, and light commercial properties. Most of our jobs involve acreage properties, wooded lots, fence lines, and land being prepared for building or development.

How long does a project take?

Most jobs can be completed in one to three days, depending on the size and conditions of the property. Larger or heavily wooded areas may take longer.

How much does land clearing cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the area, density of vegetation, and accessibility. We typically charge by the hour or by the acre. Contact us for a free quote based on your specific project.

Can you clear large trees?

We can handle small to medium-sized trees and dense brush. For very large trees, we can coordinate or recommend additional services if needed.

Will the ground be level after clearing?

Yes—our process leaves a smooth, workable surface. Surface roots are typically ground down below grade, making the area easier to walk on, maintain, or build on.

How soon can you start?

Scheduling depends on current workload, but we aim to start projects as quickly as possible—especially for time-sensitive jobs.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, we provide free estimates. We can often give a rough quote from photos, or we can schedule a site visit for a more accurate assessment.

Can work be done during the winter months?

Yes, forestry mulching and land clearing can be performed year-round, including during the winter months. In many cases, frozen ground can actually make access easier and reduce disturbance to the soil. Winter is a great time to get a head start on clearing your property for spring projects.

What areas do you service?

We proudly serve customers within a 50-mile radius of the Flint area. Projects located outside this service area may be accommodated for an additional travel fee.
